Day 11

Sick from the plane and so busy today (a long conference call and the presentation to SJSU tonight).  It's donut day and I want one.  So no exercise today, just rest as much as possible around those tasks.  Back on track for tomorrow (Day 12).

Day 10

The longest day (up at 3:30AM for a flight).  No time to exercise.  Also been really munchy lately.  Taking a few days off and then back on track.

Day 9

I've reached the sore biceps and shin splints stage of this.  Also starting to mix two mile with one mile walks.  Have slowly moved back my wake up time and now I'm at an hour early so I have plenty of time.  I'm proud of myself.

Day 8

I gave into the impulse to weigh myself today (98.3 kg).  Interesting that feeling better and looking better weren't enough.  I needed empirical data.

Day 7

One week down and I can already see a shrinking of my upper belly fat!  Resisting the urge to weigh myself, because this is about walking, making mindful food choices, and about watching my body change shape and my clothes fit better.

Day 6

Had a great and exhausting time at the fair, ate special food, and got right back to healthy living today.  I feel amazingly present in my body, sexy, and more able to handle stressors.

Used weights for the first time today.  Woke up with a cramp in my foot.  Feeling happy today :)

Day 4

Today I'm glad to be exercising again because I had an anxious day yesterday. I know my quick recovery was because of having a physical outlet.  Today is donut day at work: wish me luck!

Day 1

Back on the wagon.  Not calling this a diet or doing a contest.  Really want to change my life and I know my anxiety AND waistline were better when I was walking everyday.  So here is to a year of daily walks, with Leslie Sansone, outside, or on a treadmill.  Excited to see what Day 365 will look like.  Below is Day 1.
